Campsite Jezero Kočevsko is located near Lake Kočevje on the outskirts of the town of Kočevje. It extends over an area of 3500 square meter and provides accommodation for up to 100 campers. This fact makes it to one of the smaller, but good quality and pleasant campsites in Slovenia. There are 10 pitches for motor homes and caravans and 9 pitches for tents; the use of the site can be different, and all pitches are equipped with electricity. Outside the camp there are 4 pitches for motor homes. In the nature, the camp offers its guests 5 wooden “glamping” cabins that can accommodate 4 people. Their design is inspired by the former rural huts of workers in the Kočevsko forest. The environment is designed in the lakeside landscape style with a combination of local forests, so you find different types of plants on the side of the huts; everything from birch and maple trees to herbs and fruit bushes. There is a modern service facility at the camp, established in 2016, with everything for the guests’ comfort – toilets, washing and drying facilities, and a kitchen with an indoor and outdoor dining room. For the entertainment of the youngest, there is a large children’s playground made of natural materials and a meadow for ball games. Pets are welcome at the camp. In the immediate vicinity is the access to the lake and, at the same time, the campsite with its central location, is an excellent starting point for trips to nature or a visit to the city. We believe in living in harmony with the surrounding nature and have been awarded the Ecocamping certificate, which confirms that we are careful with resources and protect the environment. Camp Jezero is the perfect starting point to explore the region and for many outdoor activities. Our location overviews Lake Rudniško, which is one of the cleanest lakes in Slovenia and is home to many species of birds and fish. In summer it is popular for anglers, swimmers, rowers, sailors and SUP enthusiasts
