PURE RELAXATION AT THE ATTERSEE!
The Attersee is not a natural lake, but was created by sand extraction. It is located in the western tip of Osnabrück, surrounded by the Tecklenburger Land, the Teutoburg Forest Nature Park and the Wiehen Mountains. The Attersee leisure grounds are only a few minutes’ drive from the city center and can be reached quickly by car or by public transport.
Since the beginning of the 1970s, the 20-hectare Attersee area with its 6-hectare water surface has been privately owned and systematically converted into camping and leisure grounds over the years.
Around 260 pitches for residents and 30 pitches for tourists are available in a spacious green area nestled between the forest and the water.
Relaxing hiking on the shore path around the lake, rowing or pedal boating, playing mini golf or table tennis, swimming in naturally clear water, sunbathing on the lawn or on the sandy beach. Even the anglers get their money’s worth. With a day ticket you can fish for carp, pike and trout.
The Attersee leisure grounds are very child-friendly. Here the children can romp around to their heart’s content on the playground. This is the largest playground in the Osnabrück area in terms of surface area. It has been designed and built according to the latest pedagogical findings regarding children’s play and legal requirements and fully meets today’s demands of our “little guests” with its many different types of wooden playground equipment.
The playground is intended not only for the children of our camping guests, but also for the children of day guests.
