Description ECOCAMP
Jezero Kočevsko campsite is located near Lake Kočevje on the outskirts of the town of Kočevje. It covers an area of 3500m2 and offers accommodation for up to 100 campers. This makes it one of the smaller, but good quality and pleasant campsites in Slovenia. There are 10 pitches for motorhomes and caravans and 9 pitches for tents; the use of the pitch can also vary, and all pitches are equipped with electricity. There are 4 RV parking spaces outside the camp. In the countryside, the camp offers its guests 5 wooden “glamping” cabins that can accommodate 4 people. Their design is inspired by the former simple forest huts of workers in the Kočevsko Forest. The environment is designed in a seascape style with a combination of local forests, so you will find different types of plants on the side of the cabins; Everything from birch and maple trees to herbs and fruit bushes. There is a modern service facility in the camp, which was established in 2016 and offers everything for the convenience of guests - toilets, washing and drying facilities, as well as a kitchen with an indoor and outdoor dining room. To entertain the youngest visitors, there is a large children's playground made of natural materials and a lawn for ball games. Pets are welcome at the camp. Access to the lake is in the immediate vicinity, and at the same time the campsite, with its central location, is an excellent starting point for excursions into nature or a visit to the city. The camp is family-friendly with a children's playground made of natural materials and a play area. We believe in living in harmony with the surrounding nature and have been awarded the Ecocamping certificate, which confirms that we use resources sparingly and protect the environment. Camp Jezero is the perfect base from which to explore the region and is an ideal starting point for many outdoor activities. Our location overlooks Lake Rudniško, which is one of the cleanest lakes in Slovenia and is home to many species of birds and fish.
