Description ECOCAMP

The “Camping Schwabenmühle”, which was newly opened in 2008, is located in the wine and holiday resort of Laudenbach. The complex is located in an idyllic location on a peninsula, nestled between Vorbach and Mühlbach, surrounded by forest and vineyards in the Vorbachtal, a side valley of the Lieblichen Tauber Valley at an altitude of 260 m above sea level and is surrounded by gentle hills up to 400 m above sea level. The family-run campsite is centrally located in the “Lovely Taubertal” on the outskirts of Laudenbach, a district of the residential town of Weikersheim, and is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, hikes and visits to the numerous sights in Tauberfranken with the best connection in town to the Tauberbahn public transport (free bicycle transport ), bus service and from Weikersheim the “Romantic Road” bus line to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and a Night Life Shuttle on the weekends. There are restaurants and a bakery in the village (a few minutes' walk).
The stable and barn building of the former Schwabenmühle was lovingly restored and converted into a modern and functional building. We offer spacious tent, caravan and motorhome pitches on the two-hectare meadow site.
