Ahoi Camp in Fehmarn – a dream destination for campers, surfers and nature lovers
Get away from everyday life and immerse yourself in experience – and especially in nature! Ahoi Camp in Fehmarn, completely transformed in 2021, is ideally surrounded by nature reserves and framed by the sea, beach and dunes. The former Fehmarnbelt campsite in Altenteil enjoys an almost legendary reputation among surfers and kiters and is considered one of the best spots on the German Baltic Sea coast.
Not only water sports enthusiasts love this place, but everyone who likes natural, open camping directly on the beach (or on the directly adjacent beautiful inland lake) - whether alone, as a couple, with friends or with the whole family. Bird calls and the sound of waves provide the soundtrack to Ahoi Camp (and there's plenty of children's laughter, too).
Wake up in the morning with the best view guaranteed from the front row by the sea, sip your first coffee and later cool off in the sea or jump straight into the turquoise water with your surf equipment (which can even be rented on place) - a camper's dream come true doesn't happen that often. And if all this is still too hectic for you, you can relax and unwind by the inland lake, watch the cyclists on the sea wall and listen to the grebes, geese and your own breath. For even more nature, mindfulness and relaxation, weekly dune excursions, yoga and singing bowl meditations are offered.
At Café Sand-Tropez, good coffee and excellent cakes are particularly appreciated - always with a view of the sea and a very relaxed atmosphere in front and behind the counter. The Ahoi shop offers a selection of organic foods from the region. In a beach canteen, 3 different burger variations (meat/vegetable/vegan) and changing daily specials await guests.
