Description ECOCAMP

Our 4-star campsite Ourtal-Idyll is located in a very rural setting in the South Eifel Nature Park, about 4km from Vianden (Luxembourg). Gentingen itself is a small farming village with around 60 residents surrounded by lots of forest and meadows. We are a medium-sized family business and value a quiet and friendly atmosphere.
The campsite is characterized by flat meadow terrain and has been completely redesigned. The pitches are now arranged in circles, each pitch has a water, sewage and electricity connection. A new sanitary and reception building was also built. Our place is on the border river “Our”. There are meadows along the river that can be used as sunbathing areas, for sunbathing, playing football, volleyball, basketball, campfires or for children to play.
There is also a new playground as well as a covered lounge and table tennis table for children. A canoe tour on the international waters (Germany/Luxembourg) Our or Sauer is a special experience. Fishing enthusiasts have the opportunity to fish in their own fishery. The wonderful nature invites you to go hiking, cycling, mountain biking and Nordic walking. When the weather is less good, there are many interesting sightseeing opportunities in the surrounding area in the Eifel and Luxembourg.
The sanitary facilities at our campsite are state-of-the-art. We also have a disabled washroom and a baby changing room. Washing machine and dryer are available. Bicycles and carts can be rented on site. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered daily. In the associated restaurant we also rent rooms with shower/toilet and internet connection via WLAN. A new boules court is also available. In high season we offer an attractive animation program for children.
