Description ECOCAMP

In the Vulkaneifel landscape protection area - one of the most pristine hiking areas in Germany - our campsite is located about 1 km outside the health resort of Manderscheid. In the middle of the Vulkaneifel but away from traffic. All Eifel maars are within direct reach. The Moselle is also not far away. Just a stone's throw away and a worthwhile destination for a short hike: the famous Manderscheid castles. The Mosenberg volcano group is within reach.
Located right on the edge of the forest, the site is terraced on a south-facing slope. We offer you 70 holiday pitches as well as seasonal pitches. Surrounded entirely by greenery, it fits perfectly into the landscape. Many old fruit trees are the ideal place for a relaxing stay by planting trees and hedges appropriate to the location. Only a third of the entire area is used as parking spaces. There is therefore enough space for all kinds of activities and is particularly suitable for children. The intermediate embankments provide habitat for a variety of plants and small animals. Pavements were largely avoided. Our aim is to offer children in particular the freedom and stimulation they need for healthy development. Our extensive grounds, surrounded by forests, meadows and streams, form the basis for experiencing nature, sensory experiences, excitement and adventure.
Our holiday village with campsite and hut village is particularly suitable for families with children up to 12 years old. But our campsite is also very popular with older guests who are looking for the great outdoors away from traffic noise. Manderscheid has one of the largest hiking trail networks in Germany.
Lots of open space! Large playground, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball and soccer fields. Campfire pit, barbecue area.
