Description ECOCAMP

This is the main location of the Haveltourist Group.
All 8 Haveltourist campsites are located directly on a lake in the heart of the Mecklenburg Lake District. We offer suitable accommodation for every guest, whether in a tent, caravan, mobile home, holiday home, mobile home or in a rental apartment. All sites are located directly in or next to the Müritz National Park and are an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours.
The 5-star Havelberge camping and holiday park is located directly on the lakeshore, on wooded, hilly, terraced terrain. Because of its wonderful integration into the landscape, its modern and exemplary equipment, the comprehensive guest service and the above-average management, the site became the state winner of the state camping competition in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 1999 and received the gold medal in 2000 as part of the federal “Exemplary Campsites” competition. Camping and more in our attractively located camping and holiday park in the Mecklenburg Lake District - here “more” is much more... The site includes a bathing beach with a bathing jetty, a bathing island and a large lawn for sunbathing, as well as a tent meadow for canoe hikers.
Two snack bars (snack on the beach and café/snack at the high ropes course complement our gastronomic offering.
The new Marina Havelberge not only offers comfortable berths (with electricity and water) to guests who come to us with trailers and boats. We are also happy to welcome guests with boats (up to 12 m) who would like to stay with us as guest boaters and, for example, visit our Havelberge restaurant. Our animation team offers a comprehensive guest service program. This of course includes the children's club and the tipi village. But young people and adults don't miss out either.
After relaxing hiking tours through the forests or through the lake landscape, you can go to the Finnish log cabin sauna right on the lakeshore. What could be nicer than taking a cooling bath in the lake immediately after a sauna session? During the main holiday season, the animation team offers a comprehensive stage program on the show stage. A live band also plays once a week during this time. You can buy everyday items (fresh bread rolls, groceries, newspapers, camping items) in our self-service market directly on site.
