Wine hiking campsite in the Palatinate
As early as the 1960s, the first guests came to camp in the beautiful Pfrimmtal valley in the Palatinate to spend their holidays. That is why the philosophy of campsite owner Walter Hetsch is to create an excellent, natural and sustainable concept for the most beautiful days of the year. The terraced establishment in the Palatinate Forest has been awarded 4 stars as an "exemplary campsite" and has 200 pitches, surrounded by native bushes and trees in which many species of birds and dragonflies have settled at the edge of the pond.
The diversity of flora and fauna in and around the campsite is particularly remarkable. The nearby Pfrimmweiher ponds provide a habitat for rare plants and animals and are protected. True to the motto "Camping-Hiking-Wine", you can explore the green holiday region on the well-maintained cycling and hiking trails of the Pfrimmtal, learn about history and nature or take part in a guided hike. You can experience the culinary delights of the Palatinate in the Vinothek in Hetsch – selected regional wines, snacks as well as coffee and homemade cakes invite you to linger.
