Description ECOCAMP
The Dreieich-Offenthal campsite is located in the heart of the Rhine-Main area in the Offenthal district of the town of Dreieich, which is both convenient and picturesque. Our 4-star campsite is located in a quiet and sunny location on the edge of the forest in Dreieich - not far from various horse riding facilities and paddocks. You are in a charming surrounding area that is a tourist attraction in summer and winter thanks to the Hayn zu Dreieich castle ruins, which are only 5 km away, with their more than a thousand-year history and the picturesque pond. However, you should take a little time to stroll through the pretty streets of Hayner's old town with their historical monuments. The foothills of the Messel hills mark the border between the nearby city of Frankfurt am Main on the one hand and the Odenwald on the other. So from our place, push the “Gate to the Odenwald” wide open and walk in Siegfried’s paths or get to know the world cultural heritage site of the Messel Fossil Mine. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive to Frankfurt or Darmstadt.
We have had our campsite voluntarily classified by the BVCD (Federal Association of the Camping Industry in Germany) and received a 4-star award, i.e. a “First Class” rating!
Whether you are looking for accommodation for one night on your bike tour or want to go on bike trips to the surrounding area or further afield from your holiday destination. We meet the minimum requirements prescribed by the ADFC and also offer many amenities for our cycling guests. Satisfied guests, an intact environment and lasting success – that’s important to us. We want to continually improve environmental and nature conservation, safety and quality at our site. In doing so, we want to make our contribution to securing the livelihoods of current and future generations. Compliance with legal regulations is a matter of course for us. In order to achieve our goals even better, we are actively involved in ECOCamping.
