The North Sea campsite Schillig, with its fantastic location directly on the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been welcoming enthusiastic North Sea fans to Wangerland for over 60 years. With its 1,500 pitches, rental accommodation close to the beach and the popular motorhome parking space, it offers a unique camping experience for small and large campers - dogs are also welcome. Thanks to the central location between the town and the wide sandy beach, there is no shortage of leisure activities, such as mini golf, the beach chair sauna and guided mudflat hikes. And if a trip is planned, campers can rent an electric car or bicycle on site. Attention winter fans: Camping adventures directly on the North Sea can now be enjoyed by motorhome fans in winter with a fresh breeze around their noses, unlike the campsite's regular season times! The special location so close to the Wadden Sea and the winter storms on the North Sea present some challenges for even the most experienced campsites. Therefore, the motorhome parking space at the Schillig North Sea campsite only welcomes its guests with a limited range of services in winter due to the weather.
