Description ECOCAMP
The scent of wood in your nose, the chirping of birds outside the door - in the sustainably built and operated destinature village of Hitzacker you can spend your holiday in the middle of nature. With great attention to detail, the eco-pioneer WERKHAUS from the Lüneburg Heath has built a holiday village here that appeals to young and old, families and individual travelers alike.
You live in tiny houses of different sizes - from a mobile bed with a tent roof that allows a view of the sky and the stars, to a cozy summer hut for two, to huts for small families or groups, optionally with their own toilet. A sanitary building offers showers and toilets as well as a washing machine and dryer.
In the bistro at the village entrance you can treat yourself to delicious organic food and drinks, and in the wellness area you can relax in the saunas and hot tubs.
A beautiful day in the countryside ends perfectly by the fire bowl.
The destinature village received the EU Ecolabel as an environmentally friendly tourism business in autumn 2024. In 2021, the holiday village was awarded the German Tourism Prize twice - it took 1st place and also received the Audience Award.
