Description ECOCAMP
The South Seas – an attractive holiday destination in the heathland of northern Germany.
Located in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony, only about two kilometers from the heath village of Wietzendorf, is the Südsee-Camp – one of the most versatile campsites in Germany.
Nestled amidst forests and flowering meadows, the resort, with its 3.5-hectare bathing lake and expansive sandy beach, offers ideal conditions for relaxing holidays. The natural surroundings combine peace, comfort and numerous leisure opportunities.
Whether you arrive with a tent, caravan or motorhome: at Südsee-Camp you can choose between pitches in the forest, on sunny meadows or near the lake. Both parceled and unparceled pitches are available. Some of the lanes and awning areas are paved. Each area has modern sanitary facilities and at least one playground in the immediate vicinity.
In addition to classic camping facilities, Südsee-Camp also offers a wide range of rental accommodations – from caravans to chalets to holiday homes. This makes the holiday resort suitable for different types of holidays and requirements.
Cleanliness, organization and quality play a central role at the South Sea Camp. At the same time, numerous amenities ensure a particularly comfortable camping experience. Thanks to its year-round offerings, the South Sea Camp is an attractive travel destination at any time of year – in spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Especially for families, the facility offers a wide range of leisure activities for children and young people of all ages. These include playgrounds and sports fields, animation programs, a riding stable, the indoor play area "Pirate's Nest", the bathing lake and the play and fun pool. A supermarket, other shops, and a bicycle and go-kart rental service complete the offerings.
Culinary options are also plentiful: restaurants and bars on the premises invite you to linger and enjoy. The overall offering is complemented by the conveniently located caravan dealership with recreational vehicles from various manufacturers, an outdoor shop, a car wash and a workshop, situated on the A7 motorway at the Soltau-Süd exit.
