THE SOUTH SEA - A DREAM DESTINATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HEATH IN NORTHERN GERMANY
In the middle of the Lüneburg Heath in Lower Saxony, about two kilometers from the beautiful heath town of Wietzendorf, you will find one of the most beautiful campsites in Germany.
The Südsee-Camp campsite is surrounded by forests and flowering meadows and, with its 3.5 hectare lake and long, inviting sandy beach, offers a true holiday paradise that only a few campsites in the north of Germany can offer.
No matter whether you come with a tent, caravan or motorhome, whether you want to stand in the forest, on sunny meadows or directly by the lake, whether you prefer parceled or unparceled pitches, the choice is yours.
Some of the lanes and awning areas are paved. In each area you will find a wash house and at least one playground in the immediate vicinity.
Whether camping or in a rented caravan, chalet or holiday home - in the Lüneburg Heath in the Südsee-Camp you will find an outstanding and varied accommodation offer that only a few campsites in Germany offer in this variety.
In general, campsites in Germany are known for their cleanliness and good organization. We add a touch of luxury to your camping holiday, because the South Sea Camp is known for its amenities. Whether spring, summer, autumn or winter - it's always holiday time here, because each season offers its own attractions.
We are also one of the most popular campsites in Germany for holidays with the whole family. The South Sea Camp offers children of all ages a wealth of attractive leisure activities. Here you will find playgrounds and sports fields, entertainment, riding stables, indoor play hall "Pirate's Nest", swimming lake or the play and fun pool. Supermarket, shops and bicycle and cart rentals complement the offerings in our holiday resort in the Lüneburg Heath.
Like most campsites in Germany, the Südsee-Camp is of course also home to restaurants and bars where you can treat yourself to culinary delights. Our caravan shop with recreational vehicles from various manufacturers, an outdoor shop, car wash and workshop is located directly on the Soltau-Süd motorway A7 exit.
