Is going on a camping holiday by bike only for sporty adventurers?
We see it differently and tried it out ourselves. We explored the German Alpine road with Dolly's cargo bike and Gentle Tent 's B-Turtle tent trailer.

We were able to enjoy the journey over the mountainous Alpine road thanks to the electrical support. It is important to plan the route carefully in advance. The combination of apps for tour planning and regional cycle networks helped us; it is important that you recognize which paths are involved. Because nothing disrupts the joy of cycling more than ending up on a busy country road or on a flooded, impassable forest path.

Camping holidays with electric cars and caravans: tried and tested things rethought
Not only camping in general is experiencing a renaissance, but also traveling with your own caravan. The route to your desired campsite can be traveled comfortably and in a climate-friendly manner with your own or a borrowed electric car. However, the travel route should be checked in advance and planned along e-charging stations. In this way, completely unknown areas are discovered on the journey.
While the vehicle recharges its batteries, the passengers can also gain new impressions, sun or recharge their batteries. Once you've arrived at your destination campsite, you can relax straight away and charge your electric car in peace for the next day's adventures.
Where's the store?
Numerous apps and websites help with planning along e-charging stations. A good overview of the travel route and the e-charging stations located along it can be found, for example, at GoingElectric .
But if you have a contract with a charging provider, charging at the contract pillars is worth it in terms of price. The providers often have their own apps that navigate you directly to a suitable charging station.

Enjoy freedom with the e-camper van
The electrification of mobile homes is a revolution. Electric motorhomes or camper vans combine comfort and climate protection in a new way. Because with electricity from renewable energy sources, they take you on vacation noise-free and pollution-free.
We tested an e-camping bus from Zero Campers ourselves.
Zero Campers has converted the Citroën ë-Spacetourer into a cozy mobile home with a 75 kWh battery. For those interested in trying out the e-mobile camping life, Zero Campers offers rental vehicles. Similar vehicle models can now be purchased electrically from the factory.

This way, going into the city or to the swimming pool protects the climate.
