ECOCAMPING was invited to give a keynote speech at an internal conference of the TCS (Touring Club Switzerland) in Veyvey in March to talk about sustainability on campsites. As a Swiss mobility club, the TCS is active throughout the country and operates 24 campsites in Switzerland. The topic of sustainability met with great interest among the participants. The TCS works closely with ECOCAMPING to improve environmental management and prepare all campsites for the ECOCAMPING award .
Swisstainable – Swiss tourism’s sustainability program
ECOCAMPING is recognized for Swisstainable Level II . The Swisstainable program is open to all Swiss tourism companies and organizations. For Level II, further certification must be presented. The ECOCAMPING award is recognized as proof of Level II “engaged” .
