We are looking for a new team member (focus: Northern Germany)!
Consultant (f/m/d) for sustainability in the camping industry (50-75%)
Your task:
- Individual consulting and support for camping companies (energy consulting, potential savings in the use of resources, site planning, building equipment, support in the implementation of technical and organisational measures))
- Auditing of the ECOCAMPING, ClimaCamps and "EU Ecolabel" awards
- Management of climate protection/sustainability projects at state and federal level
- Planning, organisation and implementation of webinars and workshop
Your Profile:
- You are passionated about climate protection and sustainable development.
- You have a degree in a consultancy subject relevant to the job, preferably with an engineering or scientific focus.
- You have professional experience in your field of work and are willing to familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility.
- You work in a team-orientated manner, but independently in the implementation of your tasks.
- You are prepared to be on the road in spring and autumn.
- You have own camping experience or experience in the camping industry.

The environment:
ECOCAMPING is the most important sustainability initiative in the European camping industry. With currently 4 team members, we support over 200 camping companies in seven European countries in their development towards sustainability. ECOCAMPING has been awarding the ECOCAMPING label for over 20 years. ECOCAMPING is also accredited as an auditor and consultant for the EU Ecolabel for accommodation providers in Germany.
In recent years, we have developed and implemented specific projects for numerous key issues in the camping industry, such as biodiversity, climate change adaptation (coping camps) and a camping guidance system.
