The non-profit organization Goldeimer , which supports sanitation solutions and social projects all over the world, and WERKHAUS have been working together for years on the topic of composting toilets - they are used successfully at music festivals supported by Goldeimer and in the holiday camp destinature Dorf Hitzacker . When they were installed, it was not clear how the guests would react, but the feedback was positive - there are hardly any smells, and using them is only minimally different to using a toilet. Goal achieved: a lot of water is saved and the waste is returned to the natural cycle. From the small portable toilet to the "Laubenpieper" toilet cubicle, WERKHAUS & Goldeimer build dry toilets together. They are made from wood in social production exclusively in Germany. A portion of the proceeds from sales at Goldeimer and WERKHAUS goes to social projects.
